Join the Ipswich RSL Sub Branch to commemorate.

On Wednesday 11 November, join Ipswich RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation.

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

The 2026 Ipswich RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

    SERVICE UPDATE

As you all are aware the restoration works begin on Ipswich Soldiers Memorial Hall in October.

This unfortunately means we will not be able to hold our Remembrance Day commemorative service this year.

As disappointing as this is, the floor works is very important.

We encourage you to lay a wreath at the WW1 Memorial walls x 3 at Memorial Gardens.

There will be construction fencing around the building.

There is a service at Bundamba with the Salvation Army or Goodna Parkview Club or Rosewood.

We apologise for any inconveniences this may cause but on the day 11th November

We will remember our fallen and those we have lost since.
