Remembrance Day Service - Maryborough

Join the Maryborough RSL Sub Branch to commemorate.

On Wednesday 11 November, join Maryborough RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2026 Maryborough RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

 

The 2026 Maryborough RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include a guest speaker, the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am, with a flyover of a warplane taking place at 11.10am.

Join us on Remembrance Day as we pause to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations in the service of Australia. Observed each year on 11 November, Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War in 1918 and has become a solemn occasion to reflect on the cost of war and the value of peace.
