Remembrance Day Service - Bundaberg

On Wednesday 11 November, join Bundaberg RSL Sub Branch for its 2026 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2026 Bundaberg RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel.

 

Join us on Remembrance Day as we pause to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations in the service of Australia. Observed each year on 11 November, Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War in 1918 and has become a solemn occasion to reflect on the cost of war and the value of peace.

This commemorative service provides an opportunity for veterans, families, serving personnel, and members of the community to come together in gratitude and remembrance. Through the laying of wreaths, moments of reflection, and the observance of one minute's silence at 11:00 am, we pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and acknowledge the courage and commitment of all who have served our nation.

As we remember their service and sacrifice, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that their legacy lives on for future generations.
