RSL Rec Connect – Meet, move and make for a more connected life!
RSL Rec Connect helps veterans and their families connect through a diverse calendar of recreational events. RSL Rec Connect events are held throughout the year in various locations across Queensland. Veterans and current serving Defence members, and their partners and children over 8 years of age are welcome.
Create a plate that's truly one of a kind in this hands-on pottery workshop. You'll hand-build a ceramic plate and decorate it using a wide selection of stamps to create texture, personality, and a design that reflects your own style.
Experienced instructors will guide you through each step using beginner-friendly techniques, making this workshop suitable for all skill levels. Whether you prefer a sleek and modern look or something more rustic and organic, you'll leave having created a unique piece to be proud of.
Once completed, your plate will be glazed and fired twice before being ready for collection approximately four weeks later. Your finished piece can be used every day or gifted as a special handmade keepsake.
