Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Goondiwindi RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Goondiwindi RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

Goondiwindi RSL Sub Branch will be holding the Remembrance Day Service at 11:00am on Tuesday 11th November 2025.

Members of the community, veterans and their families are invited to attend, and to please gather at 10:30am prior to the 11:00am service at the Cenotaph in the Goondiwindi Town Park.

There will be a minutes silence to pay our respects during the service, and laying of wreaths.

They gave their all for Australia.
