Join Us for an Exciting Day Whale Watching!
Available to Sub Branch members & their immediate families – these school holidays.
Hit the famous Humpback Highway with us for a spectacular whale watching adventure these school holidays! This unforgettable cruise is packed with sights, stories, and the chance to see one of nature’s most breathtaking migrations up close.
Just 20 minutes from the Sea World Cruises Terminal lies the Humpback Highway – a migration corridor travelled by approximately 45,000 humpback whales each year.
These majestic mammals make their annual journey between the nutrient-rich waters of Antarctica and the warm, sheltered breeding grounds of the southern Great Barrier Reef. From the Gold Coast coastline, you may witness:
Breaching – whales launching into the air
Tail-slapping – dramatic splashes as they communicate
Spy-hopping – peeking out of the water for a curious look at you!
