2024 State President (Board Chair) election  

In accordance with the Constitution (Clause 9.7.1), an election for the position of State President will be held at the 2024 AGM. 

The role of the State President requires the incumbent to have the experience and capability to lead an organisation with a significant public profile, more than 35,000 members and an annual turnover of $233.1m in 2022. 

The State President ensures that the organisation is well governed and conducts its affairs in accordance with RSL Queensland’s Objects at all times. 

The responsibilities and accountabilities of the State President are referenced throughout RSL Queensland’s Constitution. 

Nominations open on Monday 22 January 2024 for current RSL Queensland members to apply, and close at 5pm on Friday 22 March 2024.
