At RSL Queensland, we are fortunate to have thousands of members across the state who dedicate hours of their time to giving back in their communities, providing services and initiatives that make a vital difference to veterans and their families.
As part of National Volunteer Week 2026 (18 to 24 May), we’re celebrating our members and their dedication and commitment to giving back to our communities.
This year's theme is ‘Your Year to Volunteer’, honours the contributions of volunteers and encouraging people across Australia to make 2026 the year they get involved and make a difference.
RSL members across the state generously give hours of their time to supporting their local veteran community.
From checking in on a widow who lives alone; to facilitating commemorative ceremonies throughout the year; to giving veterans opportunities to bond and belong, members who volunteer their time are vital to RSL Queensland’s mission to provide care, commemoration and camaraderie to veterans and their families.
