
DVA Mobile Service Centre Desert Rose
DVA has partnered with Services Australia to give veterans and their families in rural and remote areas face-to-face access to DVA and Services Australia services through the Mobile Services Centre (MSC) pilot.
They can assist you with:
- registering and using the agency’s online services
- new claims for Centrelink payments
- updating and confirming Centrelink and Medicare information
- information on how financial matters may impact on payments
- assistance with payment and service options
- rural payment entitlements for eligible farmers
- non-cash Medicare transactions
- enrolling for and issuing new Medicare cards
- updating and re-issuing Medicare cards
- social work support and referrals.
What is the Mobile Service Centre (MSC)?
The MSC is essentially an 'office on wheels' that travels to rural and regional locations throughout Australia. The Services Australia staff on board the MSCs have been trained by DVA and can provide information about DVA services as well as assisted access to online services.
Where and When Desert Rose Is Visiting:
The Mobile Service Centre (MSC) has been diverted to support people affected by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.From Wednesday 12 March 2025, MSC Desert Rose will be located at the Hervey Bay Service Centre car park at 6-10 Hunter Street, Pialba from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
