2024 ANZAC Day Dawn Service - Crows Nest
Join RSL Crows Nest Sub Branch to commemorate ANZAC Day
At dawn on 25 April 1915, ANZAC troops landed at Gallipoli, starting a legacy that would live long after them.
The ANZAC Day Dawn Service echoes this moment, and the moment many a soldier has stood to arms.
Steeped in tradition, the Dawn Service is a poignant ceremony featuring the laying of wreaths, sounding of the Last Post and observance of a minute's silence.
Join the ANZAC Day Dawn Service in Crows Nest – hosted by Crows Nest RSL Sub Branch – to honour all Australians and New Zealanders who have served or sacrificed in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations since World War I.
The Dawn Service will start at 5:30am at Centenary Park with the march on of the Catafalque Party.
There will be a 30min Ceremony with a short talk and laying of wreaths. Followed by the Ceremony turning to the East.
