Woodgate Beach is located on Hervey Bay behind Fraser Island. Access is from the Bruce Highway at Childers.

Woodgate Beach is a beach side township, surrounded by The Burrum Coast National Park and fronting 18km of sandy beach. A truly beautiful part of Australia.

The Woodgate Beach Sub Branch is part of the Wide Bay and Burnett District of RSL Queensland.

History

Since it was founded in 1996, Woodgate Beach Sub Branch has provided support to the veteran community. We conduct services for ANZAC Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day.

Information

Sub Branch general meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 11:00am, excluding January. Meetings are conducted at the Tennis Clubhouse located at the Community Park on the Esplanade between Seventh Avenue and Kangaroo Court.

The AGM is held on the 2nd Tuesday in February at 11:00am each year.
