Join us to commemorate

On Tuesday 11 November, join Babinda RSL Sub Branch for its 2025 Remembrance Day service to honour all who have served and sacrificed for their nation. 

The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the anniversary of the Armistice that ended fighting with Germany in World War I. It’s a time for us to remember all who have given their lives in service, including in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. 

The 2025 Babinda RSL Sub Branch Remembrance Day ceremony will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.  

RSL Queensland stands alongside veterans and their families across the country and recognises the invaluable contribution of all Defence Force personnel. 

 

The Babinda RSL Sub Branch warmly invites you to attend the Remembrance Day Commemorative Service at Babinda's ANZAC Park Cenotaph on Tuesday, 11th November, at    10:40 a.m.

This service unites our community, schools, businesses, and local organisations to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve.

Join us for wreath laying, readings, and a moment of silence as we come together in reflection and gratitude, ensuring their courage and legacy are always remembered.
