The RSL Ready program, previously known as TOBi, has been developed by the RSL Queensland Charities Compliance team to assist RSL Sub Branches to demystify legalities around board governance. The training program includes an interactive online component, complemented by a hardcopy manual, the ‘Board Survival Kit’.
While primarily aimed at those members who hold a Board position within their Sub Branch, RSL Ready is also of benefit to those considering a Board position in the future, as it provides key information on Board and compliance obligations, operational requirements, and reporting and record keeping.
As part of the RSL Ready provisions, a number of document templates are available to Sub Branches for their use, including agenda, meeting minutes and Board evaluation. These documents are available from District Secretaries or the Charities Compliance team. All members are able to access training modules on running effective meetings.
Access the RSL Ready (TOBi) user guide here.
RSL Ready Members should contact their District Secretary to gain access to RSL Ready. Other enquiries can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
