Breakout Workshops

Breakout Workshops

In 2015, RSL (Queensland Branch) introduced Breakout Sessions and in 2017 we will re-format these sessions into facilitated workshops that will take place as part of the Saturday Business Sessions.

During these workshops, participants will be asked to nominate an individual to summarise their discussions and present their findings and recommendations to the cohort later in the afternoon.

Attendees can select to attend one of the two sessions listed below through the online registration process:

Topic One – Future Direction of the League in Queensland & Memberships
RSL (Queensland Branch) is currently at a crossroads. This workshop will look at where the RSL is currently, where it wants to be and how it will get there. We will look at ways to bridge the gap between the generations.

Topic Two – Governance & Welfare (what is welfare/what isn’t)
RSL (Queensland Branch) recognises that governance is topical in the current environment. In this workshop, we will explore areas of governance and look at examples of what activities and expenditure is considered welfare within the realms of the RSL.
